A guide to ReZume
From your experience to your next application.
1. Open your workspace
Sign in with Google or email. Lifetime access unlocks the editor, templates, and AI tools. Your billing page shows whether access is active.
2. Choose a starting point
Choose a template, import a PDF, or talk through your experience with the resume assistant. Drafts are stored in the current browser. Download your work before clearing browser data or switching devices.
3. Review and tailor
In Resume review, paste your resume or upload a PDF or text file. Add a job link or paste the job description to compare relevant requirements. The readiness feedback is a guide, not a score from an employer’s ATS. Review each suggested edit and approve only changes that accurately describe your experience.
4. Download your document
The editor exports a PDF. Resume review can apply approved changes to a LaTeX document and generate a tailored PDF. Check the final document before sending your application.
Saved reviews and research
Your extracted resume text, role details, and latest review save to your account. The original upload and generated PDFs are not stored. Wait for “Saved to your account” before closing the page. You can remove the saved resume from Resume review.
For source-backed advice, enter a role and experience level and choose “Research this role.” Research compares public examples and career guidance without sending your resume text to the research agent. It can take several minutes and continues if you leave. Use the saved sources in your next review.
Your AI allowance
Each account has 150 AI requests per week, resetting every Monday at midnight UTC. Chat replies, writing suggestions, reviews, tailoring, Deep Research starts, and connection tests share the allowance, including personal API keys. Started requests count even when cancelled or unsuccessful. Editing and downloads do not use AI requests. View the remaining allowance in Settings.
